What REAL is (plain English)

REAL is a blockchain designed specifically for real-world financial assets.

It’s built to support:

  • Asset tokenization

  • Risk assessment

  • Embedded insurance
    …in a decentralized and transparent way.

Why REAL exists

Traditional finance has major issues:

  • Slow settlement

  • High fees

  • Opacity (hard to verify what’s true)

  • Centralized control

Blockchain can help – but RWAs need extra structure:

  • Standard frameworks

  • Risk and trust systems

  • Insurance and enforcement

  • Regulatory/compliance awareness

REAL is built to solve those gaps.

How REAL is different from “generic chains”

Most chains treat RWAs like “just another token.”
REAL treats RWAs like financial infrastructure, where:

  • Risk is made visible to users

  • Security is enforced economically

  • Business actors are accountable on-chain

What the network includes

REAL is designed as a full stack for RWAs:

  • A chain layer for security + consensus

  • A system for onboarding assets

  • A risk scoring layer

  • An insurance layer

  • A recovery mechanism if insurance fails

The design references:

  • Cosmos / Tendermint foundations

  • An adaptive staking reward style similar to Polkadot
